Overnight work:
Crews are scheduled to begin relocating the Muni overhead wires.  The wires will need to be relocated due to the sidewalk widening work.  The work will entail moving the wires closer to the center of the street and replacing some switching units and hardware.  The wire relocation work will be completed overnight.  The work hours will be from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. This utility relocation work will take several weeks to complete. Any noise associated with the overnight wire relocation work will be minimal since it won't require heavy machinery. The contractor will need to use a lift truck to access the Muni overhead wires.

Utility relocation:
On Tuesday, crews will begin relocating the sewer traps on the 400 block (Westside). The sewer traps will be relocated from their existing locations out towards the new curb/sidewalk.

Water main replacement:
The new water line has been installed on both the 400 & 500 blocks.  SFWD has begun testing the line.  SFWD will complete the final tie-in work at a later date.  The tie-in work is usually completed overnight when there is less demand for water service.  Any affected customers will be notified in advance.

Sidewalk demolition:
The sidewalk demolition work has been completed on the 400 block (Westside).  Crews are continuing demolition of the parking strip, curb, and sidewalk on the 500 block (Westside). Demoition work on the Westside of the 500 block will be completed this week. Once the work on the Westside of the 500 block is complete, crews will begin demolition work on the Eastside of the 500 block.  On Tuesday (tomorrow), in advance of the work on the Eastside, the contractor will begin installing the fence. Crews are also scheduled to begin saw-cutting the sidewalk (Eastside) on Tuesday.
